What is Wasp?
Wasp is an AI accountability assistant. It sits across Gmail, Google Calendar, Slack and your desktop, catches the commitments you make as they appear, and then holds you to them. The capture half means the list is finally complete. The accountability half is what makes a complete list change anything.
How is Wasp different from a task manager?
A task manager only knows about work you stopped to type in. The commitments that cost you are the ones made in a sentence in the middle of a reply, which never reached any list. Wasp is not another place to file tasks. Instead, it catches what never made it into one, and then it chases the result.
What happens when I do not do the thing?
Wasp escalates. Day one is a quiet reminder timed to the deadline, which is all it takes most of the time. If nothing moves, the pressure steps up through four rungs and Wasp asks for an answer, with every option spelled out on the card: mark it done, book time to do it, move the date, or drop the task. Wasp accepts any answer except silence.
Does Wasp really track promises I make to other people?
Yes, and this is the part nothing else does. Wasp reads your outgoing mail and messages and detects commitments in your own words. A line like "I will get you the revised numbers by Friday" takes ten seconds to type and is gone from memory in five minutes. Wasp holds onto it and holds you to it.
How does Wasp know when I am likely to slip?
It builds a Follow-Through Model from your own history: every nudge, snooze and save is recorded, and over weeks a picture forms of when you fade, which categories you chronically avoid, and which commitments are at risk before you notice. The longer Wasp runs, the harder it is to fool.
Privacy and your data
Does Wasp read my email?
Yes, and only to find commitments. Message bodies are read once, distilled, and then discarded. What stays behind is the commitment, its deadline, a one line summary and a link back to the original. Wasp stores the commitment, never the conversation.
Is my data used to train AI models?
No. Your data trains nothing, not Wasp's models and not anyone else's, ever.
How are my connected accounts secured?
Access tokens are encrypted with AES-256-GCM. Wasp shows the full disclosure of what it will read before you grant anything, and access is read only. Disconnecting a source purges what came from it.
Does my data stay on my machine?
No, and Wasp will not claim otherwise. Wasp is a cloud product, so processing happens on a server. What Wasp does instead is minimize: filter on device where it can, process and discard the rest, and keep only derived data. A promise that data never leaves your machine would be a nice line and an untrue one.

What does Wasp cost?
Two tiers. Essentials is 15 US dollars a month, or 39 a quarter, and covers capture: up to two connected sources, one unified list, manual and voice capture, and basic deadline reminders. Pro is 35 US dollars a month, or 90 a quarter, and adds unlimited sources plus the full Accountability Engine, the weekly synthesis and mobile push.
Is there a free trial, or a free plan?
Every plan opens with a 14 day free trial of the full Pro experience, including the Accountability Engine, with no card required until the trial ends. There is no free tier after that. Wasp works for you, not on you, and a free tier would mean the product had to earn its living some other way.
Why is the Accountability Engine only on Pro?
Because everyone gets to try it first. The 14 day trial is full Pro, so nobody chooses between the tiers without having felt the part that matters. Essentials is a capture on-ramp for people who want the list and not the chasing.
What can I run Wasp on?
There is a desktop app for Mac, Windows and Linux, and a web app that runs in any browser. Connectors live at launch are Gmail, Google Calendar, Slack, and capture from your own keyboard or voice. Further connectors ship in waves.
When can I actually use it?
Wasp is built and the waitlist is open. Early access rolls out in waves, so joining the waitlist is what puts you in the queue. There is nothing to pay today.

Who is Wasp for?
People carrying a heavy load of self-directed commitments, where dropping one costs reputation rather than a checkbox: founders, consultants, agency owners, and senior people whose word is the thing they trade on.
Who is Wasp not for?
Anyone whose work is assigned and tracked by someone else already has an accountability system, and it is their manager. Wasp is also single-player, so it is the wrong tool for a team that wants a shared project tracker, and it needs a connected mailbox to do the thing it is for.
Will Wasp nag me all day?
You set the intensity, the quiet hours and the working hours, and capture is confidence-gated so low-signal noise never surfaces at all. On a normal day the first rung is a single quiet reminder, and that is the end of it.
